The King James Bible: Revelations Chapter 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus I want to believe in You.
Save me.
Help me.
Show me.

And He will.
And then there will be things you will do. You will hear His voice and act on it.

The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ will be your helper and guide.

You will then be convicted, that is: be shown that there are areas of your life that need dealing with. You may have a compelling need to seek forgiveness for past mistakes (sins). Tell Jesus that you are sorry for your mistakes and seek His forgiveness.

This forgiveness is important as it helps you repent – the word repent is from the greek meaning to turn away, turn around. It was a nautical term for ships to turn away from disaster. You will not want to lead the life you led before but will be led by Jesus to turn away from it to a new life in God, you will become a new man as if you are born again. It won’t be your physical life that will change as such but your mental attitude to your physical life. If you have been living with your partner outside of marriage you will want to get married as God decrees in the Bible. If you saw no wrong in stealing, you will not want to steal again, not even a pencil from the place where you work. You will see the honour in life and the importance of God’s Word and morals and this is what people will see in you and will see that you have changed.

You will then want to tell people, so tell them and being baptised shows everyone your new faith, your new life.

You will then be strongely convinced that you need to be with other Christians to pray together and to learn more about Jesus. This doesn’t have to be a church but can be a small group of Christian friends meeting in their home.

If you can’t find a group, then get in contact with anyone you know who is a Christian and meet and chat with them. Pray to God and wait for Him to show you where to go. Not all Churches lead with the truth. The truth is the Bible and the most reliable bible is the King James version. This is what you want to hear – The Bible truths. Listen – to the still quiet voice in your heart and mind
Do – do seek forgiveness, repentance, christian company
Learn – read God’s book the Bible

You will learn about God through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. This is a faith in God. A belief. A trust. It is not about man’s rules, religion, it is about God and you. The Will of God in your life is living the Word of God which is Jesus Christ and the Bible.
