Omega 3 fish oil supplement
A supplement formulated by Scientists and Doctors from The Yale University School of Medicine, USA.
Q: Why do I need fish oil?
A: The modern diet has become overloaded with foods that are thought to be the cause of many inflammatory conditions which also deplete nutrients especially Omega 3 fish oils that could counterbalance the problem. Science is showing that the EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) in Omega 3 fish oils can help with central nervous disorders, cognitive conditions, cardiovascular health, joint, skin, immune and metabolic functions.
Q: Why take a supplement, why not eat oily fish instead?
A: Please do! But to maintain correct levels of the healthy Omega 3 oil one would need to eat 3 to 7 oily fish a week depending on health issues.
How many oily fish have you eaten this week?
Q: Why take Omax3, what is wrong with the cod liver oil at my local supermarket?
A: Four reasons:
Omax3 by Cenestra Health is purified and screened of toxins such as mercury and dioxins plus most other contaminants.
Omax3 by Cenestra Health has been scientifically balanced to provide an optimum health ratio of 4:1 EPA to DHA.
Omax3 by Cenestra Health provides what most science experts believe is the required daily amount in two medium sized softgel capsules.
Omax3 by Cenestra Health capsules only contain fish oil. Nothing else. No added antioxidants, soya oil, tocopherols, no added anything – just fish oil.
Q: Surely Omax3 isn’t the only fish oil on the market that has been purified?
A: Correct. But it is probably the only fish oil on the market with the 4 reasons above and the kudos of Scientists and Doctors from the Medical School at the University of Yale.
Q: So exactly how much of this EPA and DHA do I need?
A: Some experts’ opinions say 2 – 3 grams of EPA and 1 – 2.5 grams of DHA a day depending on health issues.
2 capsules of Omax3 contain 1500 mgs of fish oil.
EPA =1000 mgs (1 gram)
DHA = 270 mgs (just over a quarter of a gram)
I have not found this ratio on the market before and so this is why I would recommend Omax3 to supplement your fish oil requirements.
For example a very good fish oil supplement I have been taking in the past gives me 165 mgs of EPA and 110 mgs of DHA per 1000 mg capsule. I take 3 capsules a day so that only gives me 495 mgs of EPA and 330 mgs of DHA which doesn’t meet the Cenestra Health’s scientifically researched 4:1 ratio.
Q: Is Omax3 expensive?
A: No. A box of 60 capsules costs $34.95 which is approximately £18 a month here in the UK depending on the rate of exchange. There are discounts available on orders over a certain amount so check out the website Omax3.
