There isn’t a God that encompasses all faiths and is simply ‘nice’ and ‘all loving’.

No. There is only one God and one way we can know God.

John Chapter 14 verses 5 and 6 ’ ... how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
