When I next vote, I want to vote for a party that has clear moral codes with the strength to abide by them.
I write this today because of the Embryo Vote; it has been agreed to use embryos ‘mixed’ with animal parts to produce something to use in trials for stem cell research even though nothing has been shown that this will produce the hoped for outcome.

I can think of no better celebration than a wedding, especially these days – people spend, do, eat and wear exceptionally at a wedding. No matter what the income, the wedding is always a little more than what can be comfortably afforded. In other words we generally give our all to celebrate a wedding, because the occasion is always a very happy one. But this isn’t about money – it is about love and celebration.

I think that there should be a distinct line between science-based therapies and spiritual therapies and I think the Professional bodies and their meetings should reflect this. The scientists when investigating homeopathic remedies cannot even find trace elements in the product. They cannot find anything at all. So I wonder to myself what it is exactly that is curing people when they use homeopathic treatment. If it works as a placebo effect then perhaps it is not such a bad thing although it is a very elaborate and successful money making scheme and a terrible con at the very least!
